Since it’s beginning in 2009, Titus Task has sought to reach the vulnerable in an intimate way, both in third world countries and in our own community. The scope of the original mission focused on providing resources to families that were completing international and domestic adoptions and also sought to provide a future for orphans in the world – specifically in a Haitian community that was devastated by the 2010 earthquake which left thousands of children without families. Seeking to help the most vulnerable children has consistently been the thread that weaves through the Task. The founders, Noel and Lori Tugwell and family have recently returned from living in Haiti for 3 plus years. As they have learned and loved alongside friends in Haiti, they believe they have been given great insight on how to best serve our neighbors. As others have joined the effort, together we are seeing a community transformed with hope for their future. With strong community stateside, we will seek to further impact the most vulnerable by learning, sharing ideas, and providing resources. We welcome those who would like to walk with us on this journey. As our focus centers on Haiti in this season – we will remain faithful to our worldwide call of pursuing a future for orphans and preventing further orphans.
